Frame: Frames stocks are harvested from certified sustainable sources. Frame is constructed in European Beech lumber with all parts being cut and machined in the United States. All stress joints to be connected utilizing double doweled or mortise and tennon joinery. Corner block are finger jointed into seat rails. Blocks are screwed and glued in place. Glue is polyvinyl acetate.
Finish: Frames finished in 14 step process utilizing a catalyzed conversion varnish sealer and top coat. Conversion varnish offers superior moisture resistance, cleaner / chemical resistance and surface strength. The coating includes an anti-microbial agent as well as a UV Inhibitor.
Additional Notes: Metal handles completely surrounded by solid wood finished trim with eased edges. Helps to prevent fabric wear and soiling.
